Allie’s Bayou Rescue
Allie and her family are the stars of a TV show that takes place in Louisiana. Allie is best friends with her cousins; they get together and talk about how they are feeling. Allie has very bad asthma, and she now has to have her medicine with her all the time. She even has some in the treehouse that she plays in with her cousins. Allie is worried that she might need to move to California because of her allergies and asthma. They have a new cousin named Hunter who fits right in with the girls. When a storm comes and brings a lot of damage to their town, Allie and her cousins are scared, and Hunter helps to calm the girls down.
I really liked how Allie was so close to all her cousins because this makes her a relatable character. The story was interesting–it gave a lot of information about Louisiana and the different things you can do in Louisiana. It was also interesting because Allie and her family are on a TV show.
