Maggie has always loved animals, and when her tenth birthday comes, she can finally have a dog of her own. Maggie can hardly wait, until she breaks out in hives and rashes and starts sneezing. Then she realizes that she’s allergic to animals with fur and feathers. Can Maggie overcome her allergies and find the perfect pet?

I loved this! It’s very heartfelt and interesting. I learned a lot about allergies from this book. I also liked the story and the way it expressed Maggie’s feelings. The art is amazing, but I just want to point out that the panels and the word bubbles are really small, which makes it hard to read. My favorite character is Maggie because she is confident about finding the perfect pet, even though she might be allergic.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has struggled with allergies, or any disability, in life. Even though I don’t have any allergies, I still love this book. I hope you will enjoy it too!
