Allegiant Anniversary Edition (Divergent Series, 3)

Beatrice Prior has had enough. Her society is corrupted, with some calling for a change. There are protesters in the street, demanding freedom from Evelyn. Trapped inside Erudite headquarters, Beatrice knows something is wrong with the newfound truth of Edith Prior. Tobias Eaton also finds himself inside Erudite Headquarters, facing his mother, who questions what side he really is on. Both Tobias and Beatrice know that whatever is outside the fence might be better than the broken society in which they are trapped. Evelyn’s rise has brought light to a new group, the Allegiant. It is bringing new secrets, truths, and heartbroken realities. The Allegiant wants freedom and a choice: to make a new life outside the fence.

Beatrice and Tobias know whatever is ahead is dangerous, but both know what the right choice is for them. Allegiant is narrated by Beatrice and Tobias, switching views every chapter or so. It is the last book in the Divergent series, bringing die-hard fans through one last adventure. I would recommend this series and book to an eleven and older audience.  It leaves one wondering if this is really the end or just the beginning?
