Description
I don’t have ADHD, but reading the book All You Can Be with ADHD taught me a lot about it. I have been around kids with ADHD, or attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, like at school and in extracurricular groups/activities, so I am familiar with some of the “signs” such as having lots of energy and trouble focusing and following directions. After reading the book, I learned what these kids are probably dealing with on a personal level, and other aspects of the “disorder” that set them apart from others, even me. Knowing the things mentioned in the book helps me reconsider my thoughts on others now and in the future, especially my initial interpretation, and how I need to wait to get to know them, as I should with everyone else. The author does a good job of explaining concepts through rhyming text, and the illustrations help the comprehension and enjoyment of the overall book.
