Alice Waters and the Trip to Delicious
Alice Waters wants her students to have good and yummy, tasty food, so she goes on a trip to Delicious. I don’t know what that means – I guess she goes on a trip to buy good things. She goes to Paris to buy fresh bread and soup and grapes. She buys fish, and she buys radishes and apples. She wants everyone to have good food, so she starts a restaurant. Then she finds some schools that don’t have good food, so she helps them grow edible schoolyards, like with plants you can eat. She wants everyone to taste good food.
I don’t like this book or hate it. It is not very interesting, and I didn’t like the pictures. I did like that Alice Waters was being nice. I agree that people should have fresh food and I like that she is helping people eat good food. My favorite part of the book was when she was in France, because the pictures did look fun there, and I liked all the pictures of the delicious food.
