While the story is similar, it is very different from the classic and it is a must read. The curious creatures in the book are so cool and you can see each of their personalities in the illustrations. Will Alice escape this winter wonderland? Or will it all feel like a dream?
I think we have read almost all Jan Brett’s books and this one is so cool, like so many others. I like the watercolor like illustrations that are so detailed. The details really help the story. My favorite was the penguins and puffins. I also enjoyed scene of the winter wonderland tea party.
