Description
Alice Eclair is in her third mission as a spy in A Sprinkling of Danger. Alice is tasked with finding the traitor leaking the locations of fellow spies across the country, causing alarm and harm to innocent people. Alice uses her charm, wit, and, of course, sweets, to get hired as the pastry chef for a world-renowned actress while filming a movie nearby, while also keeping a close eye on the primary suspect – the director. Alice discovers clues, secrets, and that her life is in danger when several near-death experiences happen that make her second-guess what she’s doing.
Out of her three adventures so far, I feel like this one has the most danger and suspense because of the ways she nearly dies. Alice comes across difficult people she has to work with, similar to the previous books, and she continues to show her sweet skills that always make me hungry when I read about them! Kids aged ten and older will likely enjoy it the most.
