Alfie’s Lost Sharkie

Alfie is a little alligator that needs to get ready for bed, but he does not want to until he finds his favorite lovie, Sharkie. Sharkie is a blue shark with white fins, sharp teeth, and scary eyes. During his search, Alfie looks in the tree. He asks a bug, but the bug has not seen Sharkie. There are so many other things in the tree, like birds, a bunny, and a kite, but no Sharkie. He looks in the bath, but Sharkie is not there, either. There is only a silly jellyfish. He looks in his pajama drawer and gets stuck! Then, Kitty runs off wearing Alfie’s pajamas! That is so silly, because kitties do not wear pajamas!

During story time, Alfie wonders if maybe Kitty took Sharkie. But, Alfie’s dad tells him that is not what happened to Sharkie. What really did happen to Sharkie? Will Alfie ever find him?

My favorite part of the book is when Alfie finally picks a lovie for bedtime, and he has so many lovies, a remote control, and kitchen utensils!

The pictures in this book are funny and colorful. I love them!
