I read this book called Adventures in Famous Places. It is about going to different countries and special places like the Rocky Mountains. There is a 3-D Rocky Mountain you can make in this book. I need to make this project after I do this book review! There are also other activities and stickers. I didn’t want to do the stickers, but other kids might enjoy adding the stickers. I like the part that says “Wow! This is a map of the world” and also that there are flags for lots of different famous places the reader gets to explore with this book. Other famous places that you can learn about from this book include: the Tower of London, the White House in Washington, D. C., the Takayama Festival in Japan, and lots more. It is interesting to find out things like “The Taj Mahal, in Agra, is made from white marble and was built by an emperor in memory of the wife he loved.” I think that kids who like learning about other countries and famous places are going to enjoy this book.
