Accident!

I think this book is funny. Maybe you’re just having a bad day so accidents can happen. Like you can spill something onto mama’s dress. You can make a major mess! And then you can say, “I am the worst!” Then you say, “Oh, no! What happened?” You can get stuck on a clothes rack. You can break a lot of breakables. When you’re not looking you can snip your hair off! I like when they say, “We’re ruined until we’re grownups!” Lola spilled something, and she thinks she ruined everything. She says she will hide in the library until she’s a grownup. I liked how they drew the armadillo. I like at the end when Lola fell into the page and she ripped it. If you do have an accident it’s really okay, IF you tell your parents. It’s okay if you make an accident on paper…whatever you do, it’s okay. And you should always try to make it up; you should always try to fix it. You make up with your parents, and you should try to not get mad. Just calm down and say, “It’s okay. It’s an accident. We can fix it.”
