Accessorize Yourself!: 66 Projects to Personalize Your Look
Accessorize Yourself is a great book for finding your perfect style and creating some awesome items you couldn’t find in a store! This fun book includes crazy projects like how to make hair clips from plastic drinking cups, necklaces from old card decks, or even how to make a Japanese-inspired belt!
In Accessorize Yourself, you can find many different types of crafts, for example the beautiful scarf from an old flannel shirt or the super cute patchwork hat made from scraps of fabric. My favorite is the beautiful tote with gorgeous ruffles!
You can find sewing and gluing projects as well as projects working with clay. There’s something for everyone!
Most projects seem easy and don’t require many materials; in fact, the book even gives tips on how to up-cycle things you already have at home!
The book seems a bit more aimed toward teenagers, but many projects could easily be made with a bit of help from a grown up. I bet many people ten and up would really enjoy this book with its many projects! The book brings out my creativity, and I am so excited to make many of these projects myself!
