A Year Around the Great Oak

This book was a good book describing the life of an oak tree and all of the animals and plants that might live in and around the oak tree. I enjoyed the pictures and that the story reminded me of oak trees near my house. I love nature and animals, so this book taught me a lot about both. The pictures were very beautiful, and I loved looking at how nature and the tree changed over time. I was surprised to learn that trees can be three-hundred years old! The story was very sweet and I enjoyed reading along with my parent. I would enjoy reading it again and again. I really liked how they had a party for the tree—it made me want to have a party for my favorite trees in my yard too!
