A Whisper of Curses// is a great fantasy tale! Park Row Magic Academy is closed for construction, this leaves its magical students with nothing to do! Kyana, one of the students, finally gets permission to stop by the academy for some magical supplies so that she and her friends can entertain themselves. However, during Kyana’s stop by the school, an Available Spirit grabbed her. Although she made it out, the available spirit made it so that she could not stop crying and laughing. To make matters worse, Kyana’s best friend and fellow student, Ashley invites her to a week at magic Camp. Ashley believes that only Dr. Minzy, a famous professor at the camp, can help Kyana. Even so, as soon as the girls get in the campus of camp, the portal closes, trapping them on the secret camp site, Ashley believes that the Available Spirits most definitely have something to do with it. With the camp in chaos and Kyana still suffering from the curse, will the girls be able to restore peace in the camp and their lives?

This book is pretty good! It has a great storyline and I can really relate to the characters sometimes. I highly recommend this book for 9 to 13 yr olds. This tale would also be great for fantasy lovers. Although this book is a little childish, it will most definitely be a hit when released.
