A Walk Through Nature is an adorable book full of colorful illustrations and facts on pull-out pages. The vibrant illustrations help kids visualize the wonders of nature while learning about seeds, pollination, and various types of diurnal and nocturnal animals and their life cycle. The fun pull-out pages keep children interested and engaged while looking for fun cut-outs on each page. Who knew there could be so much life hiding under one log? A Walk Through Nature would be a terrific book to read outside. You can go on a nature scavenger hunt to find the different ecosystems mentioned in the book that are teeming with life. A hidden world is under our feet that is full of life, such as the worms, tunnelers, and burrowers that dig and plow thru the dirt to keep it healthy. This book also teaches children about the changing seasons and how animals migrate when seasons change. My favorite part of this book is when I can find some of the plants and animals mentioned in the book right in my own yard! I recommend this book for all kids and their families, so they can learn how important plants and animals are to our survival.
