A Very Mercy Christmas (Mercy Watson)

This book is not as exciting as most of the Mercy Watson books. It is very cute, but you would really only want to read it maybe once a year. Fans of Mercy Watson will definitely want to read it because A Very Mercy Christmas is the new Mercy Watson book, and everybody will be excited about that. The pictures seem very much like the original series, but the text feels somewhat shorter, maybe because the story is just simple and doesn’t require a great deal of elaboration to get the point across. It’s a feel-good holiday book that would be a nice gift or a good addition to traditions like holiday advent calendars or wrapping up a book to read each day in December.
