A Phantom Enchantment (Unbound)
At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect when picking this book up to read. I have absolutely no knowledge of the Phantom of the Opera and this series, based upon the book blurb, is dependent upon three Classic books I have yet to read. This is probably the first book where the author actually provides an English translation when phrases in other languages are used. I very much appreciated this, as it kept the dialogue fluid. I also found myself easily wound into this world building, as even the simplest touches were added, like the love locks.
I loved Emma. She is a romantic, she has a deep genuine heart and she would do anything to see the love of her life just one more time. When she finds him in her mirror, questions will need to be answered, and she will have to make some choices.
I was very surprised by this book. It had me captivated from page one and the story kept active and moved fluidly. If you are looking for a light romance, pick up this book and give it a try. It might just surprise you too!
