This book is all about the 12 months – but in New York style! The characters in this book are: Fabian, Madison, Jayla, Sofia, and Alexander. I liked reading about how the different children enjoy living in New York City. They do different things in the city throughout the whole year. They go to the Mets and to festivals and to lots of other awesome places in New York City. The illustrations in this book are extra bright and colorful. I never got bored once the whole time while I was looking at the pictures in this cool book. Readers who like New York will really enjoy this book. A quote from this book I really like the most is when the author wrote: “Mom takes us to see a Broadway show.” Why did I like that part so much? I love seeing musicals and my dream is to see a musical on Broadway one day! I especially liked this book because my mom used to live in New York City. Overall, I highly recommend this book to kids and to grownups, too.
