A Big Help
Badger has lost his stuffed bear, and he asks Bear to help him find his lost friend. They spend a lot of time together going around to all the places Badger usually goes and looking for his teddy bear. They meet and talk with a lot of other animals while they look for the bear. They have fun, but at the end Badger finds out he doesn’t need his teddy bear because he has his real bear friend and they have fun together.
A Big Help by Daniel Fehr and Benjamin Leroy has interesting drawings, and the story is funny. I didn’t expect the ending, but it turned out well. I still want my stuffed animal friends, but it helped me think that having real friends is more fun. This book would be good for kids who love their stuffed animals and either non-readers or early readers.
