A Bedtime Yarn
A Bedtime Yarn is about a little bear who holds on to his “bedtime yarn” that weaves beautiful dreams based on the color of the yarn. I loved that the little bear’s mother made him a blanket with all different sorts of yarn so the bear could have an amazing dream. My favorite dream was the tiger dream with the red and orange yarns because it showed cool stuff from the jungle and had lots of cool colors. I really liked that the bear could do magical things in his dream; it really made the dream feel surreal and magical. I also thought the illustrations were beautiful and really portrayed dreams in a fantastic way. I loved that the little bear learned how to feel safe with his own dreams and in his own bed. I could tell his mother loved him.
