5 Worlds Book 2: The Cobalt Prince
This is an interesting science-fiction adventure tale of family, friendship, magic, evil, and world-saving. Oona Lee is a smart and headstrong girl who embarks on a mission to light five beacons across different worlds in time to save them from annihilation. Oona and her new friends battle the Cobalt Prince and even Oona’s sister in a fast-paced adventure that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The story was interesting and suspenseful, and the plot moves smoothly. Sometimes it is written in a way that felt a little choppy, and sometimes the story could have used more dialogue. This graphic novel has amazing, beautiful, colorful, and compelling illustrations that definitely add to the story. The characters are cool, lively, strong, and interesting to get to know. Overall, the moral of the story is to work together and trust in yourself. I think the best audience for this book is children between eight and fourteen years of age. This is part of a great series and stands out when compared to other similar books. I recommend this to fantasy, science-fiction, and action fans. It will make you laugh, smile, and even cry a little.
