Who is hiding in the forest? Look through the snowy forest to find the animals that live there. This book shows animals’ habitats as you explore their hidden homes. This cute book has cut-out animal puzzle pieces in the front of the book you can match the animal to its hiding spot in the forest. Who lives hidden up in a tree? Lift the tree limbs to find out! When you are done reading the book you can leave the animals in their homes or replace them in the front of the book. This book had simple repetitive text, which is perfect for little readers just learning. It is very predictable for them and helps them to know what is next. While this book was fun to read to my younger sister, the animal puzzle pieces were hard to get in and out of their places in the book, so this might be challenging for some. However, the lift-the-flaps were incredibly easy to open as each had a cut out to easily grasp and open. Overall, this is a really cute book and I highly recommend it for young readers or kids with young siblings like me, as I liked reading it to my sister.
