P.T. Wilkie, his mother Ms. Wilkie, and P.T.’s Grandfather, Mr. Wilkie, own a motel on St. Pete Beach in Florida named the Wonderland. The Wonderland has everything from giant frog statues to free pool-side ice cream. But the Wonderland needs customers. That’s when P.T.’s friend, Gloria, comes in. She is a business pro and knows exactly what the Wonderland needs. P.T. and Gloria go on an epic adventure to get money and customers to save the Wonderland.

I loved reading Welcome to Wonderland: Home Sweet Motel. It was easy enough to understand what was going on in the book, and I didn’t feel lost or confused at any point. As you read the book, it gets kind of easy to predict what happens in the end. I liked the artwork a lot; it’s funny and witty. It’s fun, adventurous, and I love the characters! I picked up the book and couldn’t stop reading it. It’s a fun and easy read, and I highly recommend it. I think that it should be for ages nine to twelve.
