Thornghost

This was an awesome book! If you like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, read this! My favorite part was the big reveal of the Sparrow King and the huge surprise from it. The feel of the book was a vine and thorn type of book. The Rosa Torquata was cool and how it was the life of the place. The plot was great too. This book makes you want to read the companion to this book, The Twistrose Key. The plot was about a boy whose mother died a while ago. He finds a green-eyed beast in the forest and a mysterious talking lynx. It turns out the green-eyed beast is a troll and the lynx, who has no name, he names Secret. He and Secret find a world overrun with beasts who are led by the mysterious Sparrow King.

The plot is great and so are the characters. The only bad part of the book is the title which is not very important in the book. The ending was great. The beginning was great and so was the middle. Overall, this book was awesome.
