The Shadow Cadets of Pennyroyal Academy

The Shadow Cadets of Pennyroyal Academy, written by M.A. Larson, follows Cadet Evie as she begins her second year of princess training. As she trains, she uncovers a dark secret about a group of princesses known as the Vetreiben. She discovers more and more about her past family and strives to please her current dragon family, but perhaps her greatest challenge of all is realizing who she really is.

I really did enjoy this book as much as the first one. It was exciting and funny, and I loved all the characters. I cannot wait for the third book to come out. I love the Pennyroyal Academy series, and I’m very impressed with M.A. Larson’s work. I have already recommended this book to several friends, and they have all thoroughly enjoyed the series. If you liked Harry Potter or Princess Academy, then this book is definitely for you, and I highly recommend it.
