The Knights of Boo’Gar
Princess Phlema is upset because her goat has been abducted. She was KIDnapped. The kidnappers want the Book of Loogey for the goat. It is an important book to the kingdom. King Mewkus calls for the Knights of Boo’Gar. Only one answers the call because the others are retired. Rowland is a kid and a farmer. He rides an ostrich. He carries a turtle. He is given the Staff of Slumber by the castle’s wizard. In the forest, Rowland meets Crustos. Is he friend or foe? He keeps eyeing Rowland’s turtle. Rowland also finds goblins, spiders, and bats. Will Rowland rescue the princess’s goat? Read the book to find out.
This book has a lot of jokes like puns and bodily humor. A few things were a little disgusting. There are a lot of pictures. I liked the pictures. My favorite characters are the turtle and the ostrich. Information about medieval devices is in the back of the book. I like the ballista a lot. People who like snot humor will like this book. It’s not hard to read. The ending is funny.
