The Girl Who Saved Yesterday
The Girl Who Saved Yesterday is a story about a little girl. She lived with trees because they adopted her. They had to adopt her because villagers got rid of her and left her in the forest when she was young. The villagers left her because she wanted to climb a mountain. The trees cradled her and held her and loved her. Not like the villagers. The villagers were kind of scared and kind of mean but the trees were super gentle and nice and loved her completely, like my parents love me completely. Now I think my parents are trees!
I think the story is great. I think the story is emotional. I wish it told me more about her parents. It is happy because she understands yesterday. I think it is important to remember your ancestors because you love them. I love the pictures. The background looked like nature. I loved how the pictures looked and I want a dress like silence has. I do not know why her name is Silence. Maybe because she listens to the trees. The pictures look magical and beautiful.
This book uses a lot of big words. I think it is good for ages 7 and above.
