The Fall of the House of West is about a girl named Aurora who is the daughter of a detective named Haggard West. Her dad goes on patrol at night to protect the city from monsters. Aurora’s dad finally thinks that she is ready to go on patrol too. She even convinces her dad to let her do it alone. What he doesn’t know is that the real reason that Aurora’s patrolling alone is so that she can find her mother’s killer. She thinks it’s a monster named Coil.

While she was out one night, she threatened a monster to tell her where her mother’s killer was. He didn’t know but said he would find out. Unfortunately, he told some other monsters and they decided to use Aurora as bait in order to catch and kill her father. Ms. Grately and her had found out that she was hunting her mother’s killer and grounded her. Aurora snuck out to meet the monster anyway. He told her where to go. When Aurora got there, she asked Coil why he killed her mother. He said he didn’t, but knew what happened that night. Before she could find out what, Aurora fell into the trap.
