The Enchanted Files: Hatched
I think that Hatched is a good book. It is about a griffin named Gerald. Griffins are supposed to be fierce and tough, but Gerald is the exact opposite of that! He is shy, timid, and definitely is not tough! His Tenth Hatchday is coming up, and he needs to have a treasure, but he doesn’t have any idea what it could be! That is not his only problem, though. His siblings, Violet and Cyril, basically bully him. Gerald wants to run away. He and his teacher, Master Abelard (or Master A), decide to run away into the human world. Then, Gerald goes on a big adventure in multiple worlds. He eventually gets back home to his world and a miracle happens. Not only did he get one treasure, but he got two! His Hatchday turns out great and his siblings are nice to him now. All because of what happened! In the end, everything is okay. Hatched is a very magical book. I like how it has mythical creatures and humans in it. I have reviewed another book by Bruce Coville. He is truly an amazing author. This book also has different points of view, and I like that. Instead of wondering what else is happening to another character or what another character is thinking, you can get that information. Hatched is a good book, and I recommend it to ages nine to thriteen.
