The Elves and the Shoemaker
There were two shoemakers, Stan and Jan. They made shoes, and every night they would waltz until midnight. But when winter came, they had no customers. Then one morning they woke up to their biggest surprise – there were some new shoes, but they did not make them! Then the door swung open and there was their first customer in weeks, and he bought the shoes right away! That kept happening night after night, until Stan and Jan decided to stay up and find out who was helping them. It was three tiny elves! So the shoemakers decided to make some shoes to thank the elves, who danced when they saw the clothes. The shoemakers never saw the elves again, but they always stayed up to dance because then they started a dancing class!
This is a nice book because the elves were sad that the shoemakers stopped dancing, so they decided to help them. You will like this story because everyone is really nice. The pictures are very cute, and the shoes are beautiful and dazzling! This book might make you want to start dancing!
