The Dancing Trees
This book was not what I expected. The text was incredibly lengthy on each page, just as all of Thomas’s tall tales were. Thomas likes to impress others with his stories, but it seems he also likes to exaggerate them a bit (or a lot). But when he is out in the forest all alone, he will find out that sometimes it is best not to embellish your skills and knowledge all the time.
Thomas is careless while in the forest, and he also doesn’t clean up after himself. The trees are not willing to put up with his nonsense. Read this book to find out if he can live up to his own exaggerated views of his survival skills.
While I like the illustrations in this book, the text on each page was entirely too long and left me somewhat uninterested in the story.
