The Big Cheese (The Food Group)

The Big Cheese wins a lot! He is loud and proud and loves lots of attention and praise. He likes being the Big Cheese. He only likes to compete in things that he is good at so he can always win. One day, the Big Cheese meets the small Wedge. The Wedge is quiet and shy, the opposite of the Big Cheese. Can this little Wedge show the Big Cheese a different way to win?

The Big Cheese was annoying and bragged about how great he was. He thought that being loud and getting himself a lot of attention made him a winner. I like how the small Wedge showed the Big Cheese that you can win but be humble. This is a great book to teach kids about humility and not being a sore loser. This is a nice addition to Jory John’s other food picture books in the series. Any kids who like food picture books will like this book.
