Star Darlings Adora Finds a Friend

This is a story about how a Disney character named Adora (she is a starling – but not the bird – like Tinker Bell, who you’ve probably heard of) finds a new friend. She is a character who is a scientist (like my daddy!) and her wish is to be the top fashion designer on Starland. There is something in the beginning of the book that talks about reliquaday, but what is reliquaday? You’ll have to read the book to find out (it’s in the glossary)! Besides Adora, other characters include Libby, Sage, Piper, and Vega, who are all starlings like Adora. They all help Adora in her quest to become the top fashion designer and they also help her find a friend. One of the things that I liked about this book is that Adora learns that making and keeping friends is just as important as achieving your goals. I really liked this book and I liked how Adora became the top fashion designer and made a friend, too. How did she do these things? You’ll have to read the book to find out! Girls who are ages nine to twelve and who like Disney characters (like Pocahontas and Mulan) might really like this book.
