Scooby-Doo!: Secret of the Haunted Cave

Scooby-Doo!: Secret of the Haunted Cave is a comic chapter book with comic strip pages in every chapter.

The Mystery Inc. gang goes to see a cave, and a woman warns them about the ghost that lives down there. The cavern is supposedly haunted by deceased Civil War soldiers. The gang heads off to investigate. When a tour guide takes them down, they see the two glowing ghosts! They hike to find a clue about why the ghosts are haunting the cave.

Suddenly, Fred falls into a new, hidden entrance to the cave. Someone had covered it up with leaves! Will the new cave entrance shed some light on the glowing ghosts? Will Mystery Inc. be able to solve their investigation, or will they become glowing ghosts, too?

My favorite part in this book is when Shaggy and Scooby go to a diner and gobble up so many pancakes. The waiter is happy when Shaggy orders only two more pancakes, but he actually means two more trays of pancakes!

I love Scooby-Doo! Just like all the other books in this series, the mysteries are interesting and entertaining!
