Saving Wonder

is a book about a boy named Curley. Curley and his family live on a mountain that a coal company wants to mine. Curley wants to stop the coal company from mining his mountain. Curley and his friends make a video about what would happen if the coal company mines the mountain. After a while, tons and tons of people watch the video. Some people come to help stop the coal company, too. But the coal company keeps going ahead with their plans to start mining. Eventually, the government stops the coal company from mining the mountain because so many people are against it, thanks to Curley’s video.

This book was okay. I liked that it involved nature. It talked a lot about how the mountain would be changed if mining happened there. I didn’t like that the book was slow-paced. I thought it needed more action parts. My favorite part of the book was when they find out that the coal company can’t mine the mountain because I wanted nature to win. I don’t think I would recommend this to my friends because it was too slow.
