Ravensong (The Ravensong Series)
Gordo Livingstone thought he left the wolves behind. Having forsaken his role as the witch to the Bennett pack, he’s now staying under the radar in Green Creek, trying to forget the magic and history carved into his skin. Until the wolves return, and suddenly, things aren’t so simple anymore. With wild Omegas threatening the territory, a higher power to the wolves bearing down upon them, and his own feelings warring inside him, will Gordo be able to fight the evil descending from the woods he once called home? Or will everything he ever knew and loved be lost forever?
I liked this story because it was heartfelt, entertaining, and well-written. Gordo was an interesting character, and the side characters were unexpectedly well-rounded and entertaining. The romance arc between Gordo and Mark was well executed; emotional and poetically written, Green Creek was the perfect setting for the Bennett pack. The second book in the Green Creek series, Ravensong explores love, betrayal, and above all, the powerful bonds that tie a pack together. Startling and enjoyable, I would recommend this book to young adults.
