Ra Pu Zel and the Stinky Tofu
This is the real story of Rapunzel. Ra Pu Zel is not your typical princess. She likes to cook and eat and spend time in the kitchen. She doesn’t like to do any of the things that are expected of her as a Princess. She wants to eat in peace so she locked herself in the tower, but the King and Queen want to devise a plan to get Ra Pu Zel outside and meet a Prince. Will Ra Pu Zel ever step out of her tower?
This is a very interesting remake of Rapunzel’s story. I think I prefer Ra Pu Zel better than the actual fairytale princess. Ra Pu Zel is independent and does what she wants no matter what others tell her. I also like how Ra Pu Zel doesn’t act like a typical Princess. She loves to eat food, and she doesn’t take dainty bites. I like how the book has a recipe for tofu because I love tofu, and I want to try the recipe.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves to try new food and anyone who loves stories about strong Princesses.
