Puss in Boots Volume 1 – Furball of Fortune
This book is a funny book of stories about the Puss in Boots from the Shrek world from DreamWorks. This is a comic book. In the first story, Puss gets hired to accompany an owl on a ship. But while he is on the trip, he learns that the owl was the husband of a cat (from the story “The Owl and the Pussycat”). The Owl does not like Puss in Boots very much because he is a cat and does a lot of cat things, like putting his fur balls in the honey. In the next story, Puss in Boots causes too much damage when he tries to protect the town; he ends up doing more damage than the robbers did! Puss had to learn how to look at things and make sure he doesn’t break them! There are two more stories in this book, also about Puss’s adventures. There are two different illustrators; I like the pictures drawn by Egle Bartolini but not the ones by Dave Alverez very much. But all the stories are funny, and if you like the Puss in Boots character, you will probably like this comic book.
