Puppy Pirates Super Special #1: Ghost Ship
This is a crew called the Puppy Pirates. They are called this because they are puppies and they are pirates. One night it is dark and stormy, and the crew sails into a cave to get out of the rain. In the cave they find a lost pirate ship. Is the crew brave enough to check it out?
Puppy Pirates Super Special #1: Ghost Ship by Erin Soderberg is one of the super specials in the Puppy Pirates series. This book was a little hard to understand because I had not read the other books in the series. I did not really like the book because I think it is designed more for younger kids, but it was still an okay book. The characters in this book learn a lot in this book, and they are also well developed. The action is well paced, but it is a little slow at the beginning, but then it gets better at around chapter three. This book also includes instructions on how to draw a Puppy Pirate, two puzzles, and instructions on how to play a game. This book would be good for ages seven to nine, who like the Puppy Pirates series. A younger reader would probably have given it more stars.
