Peter Puck and the Runaway Zamboni Machine
This book is about Peter Puck and his friend Tony the Zamboni. Peter sleeps in the freezer to stay frozen through the night and before games. When Peter is out on the ice waking himself up he runs into Tony the Zamboni doing his first resurfacing run of the day. Tony Zamboni is tired of doing the same thing day after day, he is looking for a change. Peter the Puck loves what he does and is very happy. He doesn’t understand why Tony is unhappy here living on the ice at the ice rink. Tony disappears and Peter tries to find him. This book is about their adventure outside of the ice arena. My favorite part is when Tony and Peter enter a race at the race track. I love how this is a chapter book. I could read the book with a little help from my mom. I really enjoyed the pictures in the book. I love that this book is in a series, now I can’t wait for the next book in the series to come out.
