Pearl’s Ocean Magic (Dolphin School #1)
Pearl the dolphin lives with her pod in the Salty Sea. It is her first day of school. Even though Pearl is nervous about other dolphins liking her, she makes new friends named Splash and Echo right away. At dolphin school, they learn music, magic, swimming, and ocean lore. Pearl and her friends want to learn about exciting things, not learn boring ocean lore!
Echo has an annoying brother named Flip, who is always bragging about things he can do that other dolphins cannot do. One day, the friends meet an older dolphin named Mullet, who dares Flip to swim to Big Sky Basin, where the sharks live. Because Pearl is a magical dolphin, she can hear Flip’s thoughts, called mental messages. Pearl receives a mental message from Flip saying that he’s in trouble with a shark! Will Pearl and her friends be able to save Flip from the shark before it is too late? Can the young dolphins learn a lesson about making wise choices?
This story was interesting and exciting! Some parts made me nervous, like when the sharks might eat Flip, but mostly it made me happy! I love the story, and I would recommend it to everyone!
