This book was a heartwarming, evocative portrayal of life in 18th century Scotland. It is a love letter to dogs, mythology, friendship, and the surprises life grants us all. The characters were magnetic and complex, and the plot was filled with mischief, magic, and pure fun. The messages were beautiful, and I enjoyed every second I spent on its pages. Anyone who loves magic and animals will enjoy this!
