Near, Far
Near, Far by Silvia Borando is a book about animals where you try to figure out what they are. There are not ANY words in this book. It is only pictures. Sometimes I didn’t guess or know what the animals were. The bunny especially tricked me; it was pink. I thought it was a cow! I thought the bird was an elephant, and when I turned the page for the hippopotamus, I thought it was the end of the book. I liked the pictures in the book, but the animals didn’t look like they do in real life, so that made it harder to guess what they were. I do wish there were more pictures because we read through the book really fast. My favorite animal to guess was the bird, and my brother’s favorite was the hedgehog. The book is for two- to five-year-old kids, and my three-year-old brother loves to read it again and again. I would tell my friends to read this book and share it with their little brothers and sisters.
