This book is so funny! Gus is supposed to write a report about his favorite pets. His pets are sheep. He has seventeen of them. In his report, he tells you things about his sheep, like that they come into his house and they don’t like the kitchen. He tells you that you can’t trade them for your little brother and also that when he tries to do things with the sheep, his mom and dad keep getting upset at him for playing with them. Gus’s report is really funny because you get to see in the pictures that Gus is telling the things that really happened with him and his sheep, like you see how Gus put his little brother’s pajamas on a sheep, and it looks really funny! I think Gus likes his sheep more than he likes his little brother! He tries to get them to do all sorts of things that sheep aren’t supposed to do, like come into the house, where they make a huge mess and eat the carpet and his mom’s flowers. Of course Gus gets into trouble, but he does get a good grade on his report!
