Moses Leads the People (I Can Read! / Adventure Bible)

Moses Leads the People is a wonderful Bible story for kids. Moses hears God asking him to free His people from the Egyptians. Moses asks Pharaoh but he doesn’t listen. God sends plagues to make Pharaoh listen but he still doesn’t. Finally, after ten times Pharaoh finally listens and agrees to let God’s people be free. Moses leads everyone out of Egypt. The greatest thing happens next when they all cross the Red Sea! He couldn’t have done it without God!

I think this is a great book for kids to better understand the Bible story about Moses leading people out of Egypt. It is easy for us younger kids to understand and the pictures are colorful. Some of the plagues can be a little scary for some. The pictures are nice, but some about plagues could be too scary. I wasn’t scared though and it really did happen. It might be best to have a grown up read with kids in case they get nervous. Once you get past the plagues, the picture of them crossing the Red Sea is so amazing!
