Magic Tree House Incredible Fact Book: Our Favorite Facts about Animals, Nature, History, and More Cool Stuff
Did you know that the Tequesta tribe that lived in Florida used shark teeth for tools and spear points? Did you know that more than six million children in the United States have asthma? Did you know that Adelie penguins produce pink poop because they eat pink krill? I didn’t know any of that before I read The Magic Tree House Incredible Fact Book, but now I know a lot about this and many other questions. The characters Jack and Annie from the book series learned a lot of information around the world, and that is what this book came from. It is nonfiction with lots of facts and photographs. There are categories of information like “Insects and Arachnids,” “Poison and Venom,” “Spectacular Space,” and even “More Cool Facts.” It is a great book for a curious kid like me. My favorite part was learning “that there are more pet cats in the United States than dogs” and that “the basenji is the only dog that never barks.” If you’re curious about these facts and more, just read this book!
