Just a Lucky So and So is the biography of Louis Armstrong. It tells the story of him learning how to do music. He was a very poor boy. He did not have much food. All he wanted to do was play music. He got sent away for being naughty but when he was there he learned to play a lot of instruments. When he came home he became a musician and one day he became famous. He had more food and money then.

I think the story was great. I love the book because it is kind of sad and kind of happy. You get to see Louis grow up. I loved the pictures. They are very very colorful. I love them because they are so pretty and they help you understand the story. I love the picture of little Louis Armstrong. Everyone looks so happy in the pictures when they are listening to the music.

I think everyone should read this book and then listen to some of Louis Armstrong’s music! I think this book would be good for most kids.
