Groovy Joe: Ice Cream & Dinosaurs

Groovy Joe is a dog who likes playing the guitar. He sees a truck advertising doggy ice cream and goes to buy some. When Groovy Joe is singing about his ice cream, suddenly a dinosaur bursts into his house. It turns out all the dinosaur wants is to have some, and they both start singing about the ice cream. Then the ice cream runs out, and the dinosaurs are mad. But Groovy Joe turns the ice cream bucket into a drum, and they all start singing and dancing.

I like this book because I like the idea of dinosaurs eating ice cream. I also like the idea of a dog playing the guitar. There is a little squirrel wearing sunglasses that is on almost every page. It’s fun to look for him. This book doesn’t have very many words and would be good for younger kids and kids who like dinosaurs. The pictures are cool, too. On the cover, it says you can download free songs, but I haven’t tried it yet. If you like dogs, dinosaurs, and ice cream, then you will like this book.
