Gemina
Gemina is quite possibly the number one most anticipated novel of 2016, for good reason! It’s fun, super hilarious, and has a cast of whole new characters! Of course, our beloved characters from the first book also make an appearance, which was a fantastic surprise. Hanna and Nik are our new protagonists, and I didn’t think anyone could top Kady and Ezra. I was so wrong! Hanna is the girl who has it all, but when the space station threatens her world, she gets thrust with Nik to try to save not only themselves but a whole lot of other people! The story is told in the typical format that the first book was also told in: emails, texts, files, etc. In the first book, it was a little tough getting into it all at first, but in the end I couldn’t put it down. Readers seriously need to jump on the Illuminae ship because it’s enthralling and perfect for fans of all ages, especially those of the sci-fi genre. Plus it’s got romance, drama, and it’s Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman–enough said. Don’t be scared to go into this because you don’t think it will reach your expectations; it totally will!
