Funny Food Made Easy : Creative, Fun, & Healthy Breakfasts, Lunches, & Snacks

Did you know that you can make owls out of cottage cheese, a cow from yogurt, and a face out of pita bread? This book is about how to make funny foods. It’s not as much a story as a how-to book. They show you how to turn real foods into artistic designs that can be eaten. The book has ideas for breakfast, lunch, and snacks, as well as nutrition information. There are lots of photographs and also written instructions.

I liked how the author said, “I hope this book inspires you to play with your food and have as much fun as I do.” There are quotes throughout the book from inspiring people like Michelle Obama, Michelangelo, and Mahatma Gandhi. I liked everything about this book. There was nothing that I didn’t like. I especially loved how the authors gave names to some of the creations like Pastafaceol, Sweetie Potato, Stradipearius, and Mozzarelli. This is a great book for kids to read with their parents and choose new ideas for fun things to do with their food.
