Five-Minute True Stories: Animal BFFs

These stories are about animals that are really good friends with other animals. But they are not the animals that you would think would be friends! For example, there is a dog that is really good friends with dolphins. This all happened because the dog was really interested in the dolphins, so he came back every day. One day he was so interested in them that he actually jumped into their pool. At first the dolphins didn’t really want him there, but gradually they accepted him.

Most of these stories have a dog because dogs are really friendly. Dogs were friends with an elephant, a cheetah, a baby fox, a rat, and even guinea pigs. But there were other animals too: there was also a wild boar and an ape; a giraffe and a goat; and a bear who was friends with a tiger and a lion. I like this book because of how the animals act toward each other. It is interesting and fun to see that animals that aren’t even the same species can become friends with each other. The pages are filled with great photographs showing the animals together. If you like animals, you will love this book.
